Another recent introduction into our Product Portfolio is the Ramfos Concrete Crusher designed specifically compact machinery. The AMP 300 weighing 308kg is ideally suited to the Takeuchi TB138FR and offers a tip crushing force of 36 tones. Free rotating headstock allows for best alignment of cutting jaws, without the need for further expensive hydraulic systems. The unit features an integral re-bar cutter and the jaws are manufactured from high grade HARDOX steel.

Takeuchi machines

The recently introduced TB138FR Virtual Zero Swing Mini Excavator is quickly establishing itself as a real winner in the 4000kgs weight category. This is Takeuchi UK’s first machine in this category weighing in at 3860kg. The unique boom offset design allows the arm to be placed at the side of the cab, offering full 360 degree rotation with virtually no overhang to the front or rear, as is the case with the TB138FR’s larger sisters TB153FR and TB180FR.

We believe that the TB138FR is built with the Contractor in mind, who frequently wants that little extra performance and versatility. However, the machine would appeal to those plant hirers looking for something new to offer their customers or to fill a particular niche requirement.

Fitted with the 20.5kW Yanmar diesel engine and utilizing the now well regarded variable flow hydraulics, so prevalent in other Takeuchi machines, the TB138FR has all the power expected of a machine in this size class, albeit being in the compact, virtual zero swing format.

Boom offset allows digging against walls whilst the design does not compromise on dig depth. Retained on this model is the tilt up cab which offers “best in class” service access, thereby ensuring maximum uptime. This well balanced, environmentally friendly unit is built to the same exacting standards that customers have come to expect from the Takeuchi Range.
